About the Artist

I am Cesar Garrido, a Mexican American artist from Texas and a completely self taught creative. My journey began with art inspired by music and popular culture, but after embracing Islam, my purpose changed.

Today, I create art centered on remembrance, reflection, and purpose. Inspired by the Quran, I strive to create meaningful pieces that encourage people to remember Allah, seek knowledge, reflect, and live with intention.

Every piece begins by hand in Procreate and is carefully developed through illustration, composition, color, and detail. I also work with physical and mixed media to bring creative ideas to life.

I believe art should be more than decoration. It should carry meaning and serve as a reminder.
