BEAUTIFUL LIE

The world dressed itself in colors and gold,

Promising warmth while leaving hearts cold.

Eyes became lost in the things that shine,

Forgetting the Creator of every design.

But silence speaks where colors cannot,

A truth the busy world often forgot.

When it all fades away and illusions grow thin,

The soul finds beauty remembering Him
