MORALITY
“BOYCOTT WHAT FUNDS OPPOSITION”
Created to spark awareness in a world full of distractions. This piece reflects on the way consumption has become such a normal part of everyday life that many people rarely stop to think about what they support, what they consume, or how it connects to people beyond themselves.
The store setting represents modern society filled with advertisements, products, and endless choices constantly competing for attention. The references to Palestine were included to remind people that while life continues as normal for many, there are others experiencing pain, loss, and hardship that should not be ignored.
The unhealthy foods throughout the artwork also symbolize how society is often fed things that may look appealing on the outside while slowly affecting people mentally, physically, and spiritually. Everything is designed to keep attention moving fast, leaving little room for reflection.
At the center of this work is the idea of conscious living.
Being more aware of what we support. More aware of where our energy goes. More aware of how small choices can reflect larger values.
"Put your money where your heart is" is not meant to shame people, but to encourage mindfulness, compassion, and intention in the way we move through the world.
